Frequently Asked Questions What do you need to create my design? With today's computer technology you can provide us with: .jpg, .gif and .bmp file formats as well as camera ready artwork. If providing these file formats please, provide us with the appropriate desired size. If we enlarge or reduce the size of the .jpg, .gif or .bmp file formats, your design can get blurry, fuzzy and/or distorted. After your design has been digitized it is much easier to make any necessary alterations, such as reducing and enlarging. What is Digitizing? Digitizing is the process whereby your camera ready artwork is scanned into a computer or your .jpg, .gif and/or .bmp file is uploaded to the computer. Then the digitizer, with a computer aided drawing system, lays out the design and writes it in computer language for the embroidery machine to read. How long does it take? Typically, one to two weeks.
